A set for washing down garments. It includes Grangers Down Wash 300 ml and three soft balls for shaking down during drying. The balls are added to tumble dry (if the manufacturer allows them). They shake out wet, clumped down as the drum spins, making drying easier and faster. The down becomes fluffy again and distributed evenly in the chambers.

The Grangers Down Wash is designed primarily for washing equipment with natural down fill, but it can also be used to clean synthetic insulation.

Using Down Wash may slightly reduce waterproofing. Renewal of the water-repellent coating is generally necessary every 10 washes with Grangers.
The water-repellent coating should be renewed.
